Today Draco used me as a climbing frame and slashed my leg! Ouch!

Claw Marks:

Song Of The Day: The Offspring - Original Prankster

Reason: One of those songs that makes me think of past summers.

Highlight Of The Day: A few more hours at work, means a few more pennies.

Inspiration Of The Day: Rain. Can't wait for a big storm.

Photo Every Day #173

Today I mostly slept away my day off as I've still got bad toothache. After a trip to the dentist this morning I'm back on antibiotics and hoping it clears up fast.

Song Of The Day: Demi Lovato - Heart Attack

Reason: Stuck in my head! Must have heard it on the radio.

Highlight Of The Day: Puppy cuddles followed by Draco cuddles.

Inspiration Of The Day: Private dentists. So worth paying for good service.

Photo Every Day #160

Today I've been struggling with a sore throat. I haven't had one in ages so I'd forgotten how horrible they are. Throughout the day I've slowly started to get ear ache and feel very tired, so I'm sure it's a sign of something a bit more than just a sore throat sadly. It's my day off tomorrow so I just plan to relax as much as possible to try and get rid of it quicker.

Song Of The Day: Linkin Park - From The Inside

Reason: Old school classic!

Highlight Of The Day: Watching lots of documentaries.

Inspiration Of The Day: The super cute kitten with two faces!

Photo Every Day #113

Today was one of those days where nothing amazing happened but it wasn't a bad day either. Just so-so. Tomorrow is payday and then Saturday is my day off!! Whoo! I'm not at either job so I'm very happy to get a break.

Song Of The Day: Radiohead - Creep
Reason: A song that needs to be played loud!

Highlight Of The Day: Taking Stark on a super long walk. He got tired and we had to carry him part of the way.

Inspiration Of The Day: Sleep!

Photo Every Day #92

Today was day two of my new job. I'm still loving it! Today we got a fish delivery, so we had to go through a process to settle the fish into their new tanks in store. The fish were really striking, especially the 4 Chinese fighting fish that came in. There were also some teeny, tiny frogs and a black axolotl. I'm definitely be doing more research into fish as they're really interesting and they're something I don't really know a lot about. When I got home, Asami acted strange all evening. She constantly meowed for food, even though she'd had her tea already, which is really unlike her. I hope she's just having a funny day rather than feeling unwell.

Watching. Waiting:

Song Of The Day: Will Smith - Gettin' Jiggy Wit It.
Reason: Such an amazing song! Still so good now, it hasn't aged at all! I remember having it on tape.

Highlight Of The Day: Spending time around the fish.

Inspiration Of The Day: The axolotl. It has the ability to regenerate it's limbs!

Photo Every Day #89

Just a quick one today as I'm so tired from last night! Asami is sleepy too!!

Snooze Face:

Song Of The Day: Lana Del Rey - Off To The Races
Reason: I love her so much! She writes stories not mere songs.

Highlight Of The Day: Laughing about last night.

Inspiration Of The Day: Sean Bean, he's just fab in everything I've seen him in!

Photo Every Day #76

Just a quick one as I have to get up at 4am for filming!

Surfin' The Web:

Song Of The Day: Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know
Reason: Love this song, so easy to relate to!

Highlight Of The Day: A super early night.

Inspiration Of The Day: It's always useful to find tips on how to sleep better and how much sleep is good for you.

Photo Every Day #73

Just a quick one as me and Asami want to get back to some of this!

Sleepyface:

Song Of The Day: Machine Head - Davidian

Reason: One of my personal highlights of my life was being less than a meter away from Machine Head whilst they were making their way to the stage at Sonisphere!

Highlight Of The Day: Kitty cuddles.

Inspiration Of The Day: Game Of Thrones! Everything about it is just amazing! Plot, characters, locations, costumes, make up, special effects, the books! I could go on!

Photo Every Day #71

Today has been an amusing day. Asami and Klaus both decided to pull cute little 'superhero to the rescue' type poses. So cute!!

Pets Pretending To Be Superheroes:

Song Of The Day: Filthy Boy - Waiting On The Doorstep
Reason: Not usually what I like, but quite enjoyed my first listen to it.

Highlight Of The Day: Draco cuddles. I love it when I feel his warm breath on my face. A sign of a real cuddle.

Inspiration Of The Day: The beautiful model Robyn Lawley. She's the first plus sized model to be picked for Ralph Lauren, one of my favourite designers. She's lovely and has a stunning figure, so in my book that makes her a good image role model!

Photo Every Day #68

Today I officially did nothing! And it was amazing!! I've not really had any proper time off since early October so it was awesome to just totally waste my day. I can't wait for a week off later in the month though!

Kitten Dreams:

Song Of The Day: Jessica Wright - Dance With Me
Reason: So wrong it's right!

Highlight Of The Day: Nothing! There was nothing special about the day and that was why it's a highlight!

Inspiration Of The Day: Pusheen. Hilarious!

Photo Every Day #55

I keep meaning to do more PEDs based on my outfits. I'm really into finding new and unique pieces to wear but just keep forgetting to take the photos! I'm going to make it my March mission to take more outfit photos! For now, here is my most used evening bag and my lovely black wedges!

Purse & Wedges:

Song Of The Day: Slipknot - Vermillion Part 2
Reason: Beautiful song.

Highlight Of The Day: The cat stepping on something that makes my caps lock button beep when you turn it on and do another beep when you turn it off! Hilarious for now, annoying is yet to come!

Inspiration Of The Day: Barneby Gates wallpapers, so beautiful! I will be saving up and splashing out methinks!

Photo Every Day #53

Just a quick one as I feel like today's PED!

Out For The Count:

Song Of The Day: Avenged Sevenfold - Unholy Confessions
Reason: I remember listening to this on a walkman whilst doing my homework at my Dad's!

Highlight Of The Day: Discovering Malteaser bunnies are back!

Inspiration Of The Day: Film cells. Especially ones from awesome films!

Photo Every Day #44

Today we had our kitchen refitted. It looks so much nicer and has given us much more storage space, we still don't have a lot of worktop shop which is a shame as it makes the room look smaller. However, our fridge is now neatly tucked away and people can actually sit around the table without it being a complete squash.

Put Your Paws In The Air:

Song Of The Day: Clea - Download It
Reason: I was watching one of the music channels which was playing an 'omg I remember this song' type programme and this was on it. I think it's a shame they never really went anywhere.

Highlight Of The Day: Finally getting my kitchen and bedroom furniture sorted.

Inspiration Of The Day: Kim Kardashian's Instagram photos of all her braided hair styles. They look so nice I may have to have a go myself!

Photo Every Day #39

Today I had lots and lots of Asami cuddles under the duvet whilst I did a spot of online shopping. It's so nice when she's affectionate as most of the time she just runs off. Whilst I was getting into bed I noticed that the (half built) wardrobe has a spoon hidden in the pattern of the wood! How random!

Secret Spoon:

Song Of The Day: Marina & The Diamonds - Homewrecker
Reason: Really catchy and I'm loving this album. Would really love to go and see her live.

Highlight Of The Day: Having a rare day off.

Inspiration Of The Day: Victorian style ankle boots. I really want some but can't find a nice enough pair.

Photo Every Day #34

Today I discovered Draw Something, a game app for iPhones. My friend has just got an iPhone and had downloaded it, so I've now started a game with her. Very late to the party, but I'll be bored of it in a few days no doubt!

Sleep Dancing:

Song Of The Day: Lana Del Rey - Ride
Reason: Amazing song and video!

Highlight Of The Day: Girly chat with my best friend

Inspiration Of The Day: Fab - super cool and unique collections, bits and bobs.

Photo Every Day #23

Today Asami went to the vets to be spayed. No baby Asamis. Sad face. She seems completely normal; running around, playing, fighting, jumping off/on to high things. She's supposed to be taking it easy but no chance! She's already had plenty to eat and drink so it all looks good so far. She's back for a checkup on Friday so fingers crossed she gets the all clear.

Bare Kitty:

Song Of The Day: Lana Del Rey - Born To Die
Reason: Love this song and video. Just love her in general!

Highlight Of The Day: Picking up Asami and knowing she was ok.

Inspiration Of The Day: Just bought an amazing cushion from Dwell. Definately my new favourite home store.

Photo Every Day #18

Today I've had a nice relaxing day off. I wish I'd felt a bit more alert and awake as I wasted it really by just bumming around. However, it's nice to have the odd lazy day.

Comfy:

Song Of The Day: Jason Derulo - Don't Want To Go Home
Reason: Really makes me want to dance, but I can't remember what song the beat is originally from.

Highlight Of The Day: Tea with the boy and our friend.

Inspiration Of The Day: The outfits in Sucker Punch.

Photo Every Day #15

Today I have been in agony with my back. I think I twisted it too much in work over the weekend whilst sat at my desk but it feels like someone's stabbed me in it! I'm trying to rest it so that I can get some stuff done on Friday, my only day off this week. I've been wrapped in a blanket with Draco most of the night so time well spent in my book.

Kitty Dreams:

Song Of The Day: Multiple Train songs.
Reason: Two of their albums were on repeat. I am not a fan.

Highlight Of The Day: A nice lie in.

Inspiration Of The Day: Vera Wang wedding dresses. I'm a future owner of one :)

Photo Every Day #12

So after we found out little Quigley had mites I decided that changing the floor/bedding they're on might be a good start to helping him feel better. They were on Kitty's Crumble which I really like as a flooring. It gives a good covering, keeps quite warm, is dust free and has no odour. The geckos are also on it so it was convenient to buy a big bag for all of them to share. The only bad side I found was when the lazy bums didn't want to poo in the litter tray, it sort of blended in and was hard to pick out on a day-to-day basis. It also tended to cover any fresh veg that dropped off the platforms onto it, but that's to be expected when ratties can't keep it in the bowl! I did a good bit of research into what bedding might be best and finally decided to give Care Fresh a go. So far, they've not troubled themselves to get out of bed and have a look, but I'm sure we'll have a verdict by tomorrow.

New Bedding:

Song Of The Day: Feeder - Just The Way I'm Feeling
Reason: It's been stuck in my head all day, I must have listened to that album a million times as a teenager.

Highlight Of The Day: Kitty snuggles with Draco

Inspiration Of The Day: Pomeranian Poof Ball Tote Bag. I need one of these so badly.

Photo Every Day #7

Today has been a day of many dead ends in a way. We're trying to get things moving with the house but nothing seems to have actually made any progress. I'm in a fed up mood and have two big itchy bites, one on my arm and the other on my hand. I have no idea where they've come from but I'm hoping more don't appear.

Kitten:

Song Of The Day: Foo Fighters - The Pretender
Reason: Reminds me of second year at uni.

Highlight Of The Day: Getting a new really soft, snuggly throw.

Inspiration Of The Day: Marilyn Manson's music videos. Granted I've not seen every single one or anything, but the ones for his most famous/popular songs are pure beauty for my eyes. I'm hugely into the beautiful and macabre side of things; I just want to live in his video worlds!
Marilyn Manson: The Beautiful People:
