Today we cleaned out the fish tank and will soon be getting all the water, lighting and heat ready! I've been doing lots of reading up on different kinds of fish and am struggling to make up my mind what I'd like!! A cow fish would be my ideal fish but sadly not in our tank!

Today we set the fish free into the pond. It wasn't too cold so hopefully they'll be ok. I'm also covered in bites and scratches from Tuesday, who is rather vicious when she plays!

Today has been a nice day off followed by an eventful evening! We had a huge lie in, then took the boy's sister to the Trafford Centre for Frankie & Bennys, then finished off with a visit to my Dads. After finishing off my college work however it got to the eventful part. I lent over to stroke Stark and he jumped and bit me in the face. I think he was being possessive over his bone but its really u like him. He's taken a little chunk out from under my lip and I've got teeth marks and scrapes on my right cheek but its really nothing bad. I did have to go to a&e for a tetanus shot as I think my other one is due to run out soon. At least I'm covered next time I get a bite or scratch!

Today Stark was being extra annoying as he was attempting to crawl all over me and was barking at every piece of fluff whilst I was trying to do college work. I managed to get some done but it would have been a lot easier in a library with no animals!!! In other news, the fish are now eating really well and seem a lot more active. The water is still really green and cloudy but fingers crossed a few more water changes will do it.

Today we went to the Sealife Center Manchester. It's only recently opened and it's been a while since I've been to an aquarium. Now that I know a lot more about fish it's far more interesting; I'd love to be an animal keeper there!! The best thing we saw was probably the huge sea turtle that they have in their main tank. I've never seen one before and he was beautiful! The enclosures were all really nice and they had a good range of fish and sea creatures. We had a behind the scenes tour with a member of staff called Phil. He was really great and told us lots of interesting information. We also got to see a snake necked turtle which was in isolation as he was being naughty and trying to breed with another species of turtle whilst upsetting her male partner!

This evening we went to a friends house with my 3 best friends and their other halves to have a gaming night!! We played Guitar Hero which I've never played before and is hard to get the hang of! I think I managed to get a few points in the end though. We also played Buzz and Crash Team Racing as well. It's amazing how I can still remember the turns and course layouts for such a lot of the game! I'm definately a lover of the Playstation 2 games that I used to play and can't really get into these new fangled all-singing-all-dancing consoles and their games that I don't know how to play. I think I'll stick to my favourite games where I know all the characters, the story and how to complete it!

This evening we met up with a friend who moved to Singapore last year. We haven't seen her since so it was nice to have a proper catch up and to meet her new boyfriend, who was lovely. She also gave me a couple of gifts; some seaweed and some lovely earrings.
