Today has been full of catching up with friends, which made work fly, then eating too much in the late afternoon/evening. I feel that I don't have anything exciting to blog about at the moment as it's just constant house stress that's dominating my life. I'm just trying to get to Wednesday when I have a day off!

Today I seemed to do a lot but don't seem to have a lot to show for it. This afternoon we went to Ikea to pick up some legs for our bathroom cabinet (and to have hotdogs), called at the pet shop to look at some fish that I want, went to the Butterfly Chinese Restaurant in Stockton Heath for tea, called at Toys R Us to get some sea monkeys, popped into Next to pick up a gift and then called in to see my Mum at work! But all I have to show for my day are some cabinet legs, a rail and my sea monkey kit!

Highlight Of The Day: A nice meal out.

Inspiration Of The Day: Tropical Fish! In particular the strange looking ones. The uglier the better. I really want to be able to go scuba diving somewhere with lots of fish and sea creatures in the near future.

Today we finally decorated our Xmas tree. It's a really nice tree and it was a mere £20 from ikea with a free £20 voucher to spend there in the new year! Bargain! The colour scheme is white, silver and turquoise. I thought we didn't really have many decorations but its filled the tree really well. We also covered it in snow spray which makes it look amazing! I still can't believe it's Xmas in a matter of days though!

Today has consisted of more packing! We're slowly starting to look like we live in a box fort. Whilst packing the boy came across a hepatitis b biohazard package, with nothing it in thankfully, belonging to the previous tenants. Really random and kind of too much information. Tomorrow is the works night out which I'm looking forward to. I think I have my outfit planned but there's still time for a last minute change of heart!

Another lame quick post cos I'm dying for sleep! Today my parents came back so no more full time looking after of Pixie until next year for me. I did take her to the Walled Garden for her usual Sunday cake to finish our week together off nicely. I also wen to Ikea with my Dad to get our new tv stand, sadly the tv that I was given was a bit rubbish, a lot worse than our current tv so the new stand is currently waiting in the bedroom until we get a new tv set. I begrudge having to pay a lot just for a tv as there's better things that I want to spend money on first! My Dad had also been making some cakes which were very nice.

Today me and my Dad built a good old box! It was from Ikea and is for the rat's food and toys. Forget the smell of petrol and fresh cut grass, I love the smell of new wooden furniture and I love the smell of sawdust too. Nothing like the smell of a good flat pack kit! Tomorrow is the audition day for Boom In Shot which I'm really looking forward to, it will be nice to meet the rest of the crew and get another step closer to shooting!
