Just a quick generic cat post!

Cat In A Bag:

Song Of The Day: Slipknot's Iowa Album
Reason: You can't pick just one from the best album in the world.

Highlight Of The Day: Being one large step closer to making a decision.

Inspiration Of The Day: What goes around comes around.

Today has been a nice day off. Firstly, I had a nice lie in. Then we went to Willow Pool to take a few photos. Sadly it was a bit bare but we did have a nice lunch there. We stopped off at Walton Gardens and had a quick walk around the zoo. We then went for our belated Valentines Day meal at the Chilli Club, which is a thai restaurant in Lymm. It's amazing and I really recommend it! I'm definitely looking forward to our week away in March though! I'm desperate for a real break.

Peacocks:

Song Of The Day: Katy Perry - Peacock
Reason: Seemed fitting...

Highlight Of The Day: All of it really!

Inspiration Of The Day: David and Phillip Blond's Slasher Sashay collection. INCREDIBLE!

Happy Valentines Day!!

Valentines Treats:

Song Of The Day: Nicole Scherzinger - Poison
Reason: Amazing dance song and Nicole is one of the most beautiful women on the planet by far.

Highlight Of The Day: Seeing the cats stalking Pixie when she came to visit.

Inspiration Of The Day: Seeing my cats enjoy being crazy and running about. It's the simple things in life.

Today we had our kitchen refitted. It looks so much nicer and has given us much more storage space, we still don't have a lot of worktop shop which is a shame as it makes the room look smaller. However, our fridge is now neatly tucked away and people can actually sit around the table without it being a complete squash.

Put Your Paws In The Air:

Song Of The Day: Clea - Download It
Reason: I was watching one of the music channels which was playing an 'omg I remember this song' type programme and this was on it. I think it's a shame they never really went anywhere.

Highlight Of The Day: Finally getting my kitchen and bedroom furniture sorted.

Inspiration Of The Day: Kim Kardashian's Instagram photos of all her braided hair styles. They look so nice I may have to have a go myself!

Happy pancake day!!!!

Nom:

Song Of The Day: Nirvana - Come As You Are
Reason: Nirvana were one of the first 'alternative' bands that I ever really loved!

Highlight Of The Day: Kitty cuddles

Inspiration Of The Day: eBay! Home of the very occasional true bargain.

Today took a trip to a couple of local animal rescue places to find out more about volunteering. I'm hoping that we hear back soon as I'm really desperate to start gaining experience. I was very tempted to adopt a dog or another cat, but none were really suited to us and our existing pets if I'm honest. Very sad to see so many unwanted animals who are just desperate for a home.

The Pillow Game:

Song Of The Day: Katy Perry - ET
Reason: Adore the make up and styling in this video. Amazing.

Highlight Of The Day: Seeing all the beautiful animals.

Inspiration Of The Day: Being at the rescue center. It made me want to help and to get into nursing even more.

Just a quick one of me and my little Zeet!

Hoet:

Song Of The Day: Katy Rose - Overdrive
Reason: I love this song, wish I'd remember to buy her album!

Highlight Of The Day: Nandos for tea!

Inspiration Of The Day: Game of Thrones. I'm in love!

Today I have been rediscovering Hipstamatic. I love it far more than Instagram as it's more similar to real analogue photography as you can choose your lenses and films to get the look you want. I just love playing around with it and being experimental; it's a lot cheaper than wasting loads of film on dodgy photos. This was with the Salvador 84 lens, which is just crazy!

Surreal Mousey:

Song Of The Day: Lana Del Rey - Riding In Cars With Boys
Reason: Every song is an epic mini movie. Beautiful.

Highlight Of The Day: Tea with the girls.

Inspiration Of The Day: CVs! As in the thing you hand in when you apply for a job. I love writing them and think mine looks pretty decent now.
