Photo Every Day #280

Today was the boy's feed the penguins gift experience day at Chester Zoo. He got to go into the enclosure with the penguins and feed them fish whilst they were swimming less than a meter away! I just took photos since the experience was only for him as they're not cheap gifts! I'll upload a proper photo blog for the day when I've done some editing on the photos I took.

Feeding The Penguins:

Song Of The Day: David Guetta (Featuring Sia)- She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)
Reason: Was on the radio this morning and just got stuck in my head for the day.

Highlight Of The Day: A nice day at the zoo.

Photo Every Day #41

Today I have been making a casserole for the first time! It still isn't finished so I'll upload a photo or two tomorrow. I have however been editing some pictures I took at Chester Zoo in January. I liked the little ponds in the tropical realm so decided to see if I could get a photo of the reflection of all the plants in the water. Then I just tweeked the colour and saturation in GIMP.

Reflections:

Song Of The Day: Megan McCauley - Wrong Way Out
Reason: I love Megan McCauley and think she's inspiring as a talented female.

Photo Every Day #2

Here is todays PED (Photo Every Day), it's of one of the elephants at Chester Zoo carefully balancing along the edge of their pool. Very cute!!

"Elephants are lovely guys,
They're good and true and tell no lies.

They don't take more than they can eat,
And always watch where they put their feet."
