Today I have felt so ill! My throat has been scratchy and on fire and my head feels like its all blocked. My muscles are all aching too. I really hope it wears off quickly as I've not got a day off now until next weekend. Today's PED is of a local cat who's lovely!

Song Of The Day: Mastodon - Blood & Thunder

Reason: Amazing song, so heavy yet exactly the kind of song that sticks right in your head.

Highlight Of The Day: A late night walk with Stark and the boy.

Inspiration Of The Day: Game Of Thrones season 1 episode 9. Great storytelling!

Today I've been struggling with a sore throat. I haven't had one in ages so I'd forgotten how horrible they are. Throughout the day I've slowly started to get ear ache and feel very tired, so I'm sure it's a sign of something a bit more than just a sore throat sadly. It's my day off tomorrow so I just plan to relax as much as possible to try and get rid of it quicker.

Song Of The Day: Linkin Park - From The Inside

Reason: Old school classic!

Highlight Of The Day: Watching lots of documentaries.

Inspiration Of The Day: The super cute kitten with two faces!

Stark made some new friends at the park. There was a big field where lots of people were walking all sorts of dogs, but he mainly played with some smaller cross breeds. They were so cute! All crossed with poodles and other small dogs so thy had superb coats. It was nice to see them all running around in a small herd and good to see how nice Stark is with other dogs.

Song Of The Day: Queens Of The Stone Age - Feel Good Hit Of The Summer

Reason: I know it's a QOTSA pick again but I'm listening to them a lot and I love the double meaning of the song title.

Highlight Of The Day: Seeing Stark wolf down some bacon ribs.

Inspiration Of The Day: House magazines. I'm making a mood board to better envisage my style.

Today was a normal Monday; work followed by puppy training. Stark is getting lots better at doing what he's asked but were still not having much success with him still peeing in the house sadly! Today's PED is of my outfit from yesterday, it's a nice summery vintage Hawaiian tie shirt with a white vest top and a grey skirt from M&S. I also wore my plastic strawberry and cherry chain necklace and some green bead bracelets.

Song Of The Day: Queens Of The Stone Age - First It Giveth

Reason: My fave QOTSA song, I was listening to part of their love performance of their new stuff on Radio One and it sounds great!

Highlight Of The Day: The season finale of Game Of Thrones! Bit of an anticlimax as there's too many questions I want to know the answers to still!

Today we went on a walk with Stark to Lymm Dam and he learnt to swim! He watched another dog swimming in the water after a stick and started paddling in deeper water. He wouldn't jump in or go any deeper that his tummy but he was sticking his whole face under! We carried on our walk and found another place with a shallow slope into the water. After some more encouragement he finally started swimming after the sticks we were throwing to him! I was so proud! He's so clever and he was so brave to finally start swimming even though he was a bit scared at first. I can't wait to take him to a beach now.

Song Of The Day: VNV Nation - Beloved

Reason: Awesome song!

Highlight Of The Day: Being a proud puppy mummy!

Inspiration Of The Day: Seeing how Stark can learn something so quickly even when he's so young.
