This evening I have travelled down to Cheltenham as I'm having some aquatic training tomorrow. I'm staying in a hotel nearby so I don't have to do a 250 mile round trip. I already can't wait to see my puppy and it's strange it being so quiet without all my furry babies. The hotel does have some lovely vintage furniture and my room has its own fireplace which is lovely. Now for a peaceful nights sleep!

Highlight Of The Day: A nice, simple drive down. Nothing worse than motorway traffic.

Today has been a good but busy day. Firstly, we had training from a berns food rep on the Acana, Orijen and Ziwipeak food ranges. I'm already feeding the cats on Acana and plan to swap Stark to it as soon as we get through his current food bag. Even the rats have some on occasion! It smells amazingly fresh! 

This evening I met a couple of friends for tea at Weatherspoons. I really miss working with them but I loved catching up!

Highlight Of The Day: Seeing my friends.

Inspiration Of The Day: The Berns pet food rep. He was full of information and knowledge and presented in such a way that was engaging and memorable. He's not only helped me get a better understanding of their foods, but also of how food labels work plus some great selling points of these superfood.

Today we went for our next lot of training classes for the Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award. He did really well and it's much easier to get things practiced properly when there's only two of us in the class!

Today was a normal Monday; work followed by puppy training. Stark is getting lots better at doing what he's asked but were still not having much success with him still peeing in the house sadly! Today's PED is of my outfit from yesterday, it's a nice summery vintage Hawaiian tie shirt with a white vest top and a grey skirt from M&S. I also wore my plastic strawberry and cherry chain necklace and some green bead bracelets.

Reason: My fave QOTSA song, I was listening to part of their love performance of their new stuff on Radio One and it sounds great! 

Highlight Of The Day: The season finale of Game Of Thrones! Bit of an anticlimax as there's too many questions I want to know the answers to still!

Today I went for my reptile training for work at the Cheltenham branch. I really enjoyed it and thought it was all really interesting. I have a pretty decent basic knowledge of reptiles as I have 3 leopard geckos anyway but it's good to know more about the other reptiles we have in store. I definitely want a snake now though! Or maybe a tortoise! The only bad part of the day was getting up at 6am to make the 250mile round trip to the store. I felt so tired whilst driving but as soon as I got home I was wide awake! Hopefully I'll sleep well tonight.

Reason: I haven't heard it for so long but I still adore it. 

Highlight Of The Day: Handling the animals during training. It's a great visual aid when learning about them by they're also super cute! 

Inspiration Of The Day: Animal experts. I'd love to develop my knowledge to such a level.

This evening was Stark's first puppy class at the Rixton Dog School. It was really fun and we managed to get the hang of all the commands pretty quickly, mostly because Starky is so clever, but also because we have been practicing already. Already looking forward to next week.

Today we had a dog trainer to see Stark and to give us some advice. We've got some things to be working on including 'leave' and voice tone changes to indicate good or bad behaviour. We have another session in a couple of weeks when he's grown up a little bit more, but he's doing really well considering he's only 3 months old! I also got round to putting our photos up of us and the cats from our photo session. They look really nice and I'm glad we chose the ones we did. I called at The Range this afternoon as well; I picked up some new bedsheets and some photo frames. I just need to start hanging them all now!

I've just come to write my blog and have found that Stark has in fact chewed my charger up! This is ultra annoying as my battery lasts a whole 20mins before giving up. So, blogs will be done via phone for now, thank god for iPhones!

Today was my first day at my new job! I've started working at a nearby pet store and I already love it! The people are really nice, which was one of the main reasons that I applied in the first place. I'm already a regular customer and I really like their friendly, helpful attitudes and they have such a lot of knowledge about the products they sell. I've been learning the basics today but I've already learnt so much about pet nutrition that I didn't know! After some more in depth training tomorrow I'll write a post about what I've learnt about pet foods. Today's PED is of the new feed chart the boy made for the cats, so that they're not getting two breakfasts!
