Today Stark went to the vets to be weighed for his flea treatment and he's now a whopping 11.4kg! He's definitely not my little boy anymore! The nurse said she reckoned he be at the higher end of the usual collie weight bracket as he's so tall. It was nice to have a day off in the sun and to wear a dress instead of my work uniform. So today's PED is of my lovely Hawaiian 50s style dress.

Highlight Of The Day: Buying some hair dye! Bye bye roots.

Inspiration Of The Day: Victorian mental institutions. I was watching the new Broadmoor documentary on the CI channel and its really fascinating to see how psychology has developed over the years. 

Photo Every Day #185

Today has been stupidly hot in work, a mega 32 degrees! Crazy! I'm hoping tomorrow cools down with it being delivery day otherwise I'll loose half my body weight in sweat carrying all the heavy stock around! I've also picked up a few huge bites from insects when I've been out walking the dog. They've come up in to huge welts around 1-2 inches wide/long. They're so itchy! It's nice seeing the sun but I'd prefer it with a bit more breeze and a lot less insects.

Reason: Really like her and want to listen to some more of her stuff. 

Highlight Of The Day: Watching Starky play in the stream.

Inspiration Of The Day: Horoscopes. I only believe them when they say good things that I really want to happen though! My PED is of my Chinese year symbol, which is also interesting too! I'm definitely a real Leo/Dragon child.

Today we had a family BBQ at my Mums. She always puts on a good spread so I'm still stuffed! I've also made my lunch for work tomorrow. I'm starting to try to eat a bit more healthily and to save money instead of buying it all the time, so I have lots of nice salad leftover from the BBQ to take with me. As it was so hot I decided to go for a floaty black skirt with a short front hem and a low back hem, with a black vest top covered by my vintage Hawaiian shirt. It's nice to not by wearing my uniform for a change!

Reason: My favourite Lana song of the moment.

Highlight Of The Day: Nice food and enjoying the nice weather with family.

Today I caught Klaus asleep in his litter tray. He'd dragged his paper towels that he uses as bedding into the litter tray, plumped them all up so they were nice and comfy, and went to sleep! I guess this is the rat equivalent of sleeping with a duvet in the bath.

Reason: Didn't really think much of this song at first, but now it's really grown on me.

Highlight Of The Day: Seeing the sun and no snow!

Inspiration Of The Day: We started watching the tv drama Appropriate Adult which was on ITV a while back, it's really good. It's the kind of drama that should be on tv all the time.
