Photo Every Day #232

Today we went to the Lomography store in Manchester to use their trial rent-a-camera scheme. I decided to rent a Lubitel again and my friend decided on the LC-Wide. Firstly, we walked down to Canal Street as they were holding some family events before Pride next weekend. It was a doggy day and there were stalls and competitions for the dogs. It was a really nice atmosphere and there were some gorgeous dogs! I now definately want an Italian greyhound. After we'd finished there, we walked around the Norther Quarter and China Town. We walked down plenty of alley ways, including on with a lovely 'sauna' facility. I think we've ended up with some good shots, but it was a great day despite it being a bit rainy on and off all day. I definately want to invest in a Lubitel, I just need to save some pennies!

Photo Every Day #220

Today has been a chill out day really. I did drop off a roll of film at the photo place though, ordered envelopes to pick up my other films to send to the lomo lab and ordered a new film subscription pack and the Canon adapter pack with all the Diana F+ lenses! So excited to get them! I managed to wear my Butler & Wilson lizard necklace finally. It's been quite hard to match it with things at it sits just on the collar bone so can look a little too high with most outfits.

Photo Every Day #210

Today I went to Manchester shopping! I had a really nice day and the weather wasn't too bad. I didn't take my Mini Diana in the end as I thought it might end up raining. I bought a few things, mostly for the boy. Most importantly, I picked up my Sahara Diana F+ and Oktomat Cameras for my birthday! So excited! We also had a really nice lunch in San Carlo Cicchetti in the House Of Fraser. It was really nice but tiny portions, even for tapas!

I'm going to take my Mini Diana out too, see if I can get any interesting shots whilst the weather's still nice!

Photo Every Day #189

Today has been a busy day. First off we went to the Science and Industry museum in Manchester. Unfortunately, it was rather dull. The exhibits and the layout were just terrible! After our disappointing time at the museum, we went to the Darling Diana F+ workshop at the Lomography store in the Northern Quarter. It was really good, the guy explained everything really thoroughly and then we spent about an hour taking photos whilst wondering around Manchester. We should be getting the photos back in around 10 days so that's exciting! I definately want a Diana F+ now!! We then went to the cheese and wine evening at the Walled Garden, it's always nice going there and seeing family too. I can't wait for the hog roast next month!! The PED is of a big carp that was swimming right next to the edge of one of the ponds at the gardens.
