Today I did a bit of editing. I didn't feel like looking at the ones I took whilst at the Cotswolds so instead I chose to edit this photo from our third trip to the abandoned airfield. I wanted to do something to tie in in to my previous edit of the toilet lid on the floor. I'd love to shoot a horror film or fashion film here!

This evening I have been Pinterest-ing and doing a bit of photo editing. We had my Dad over for tea, which was nice, then the boy went to bed early leaving me to my artistic hour! I'm so obsessed with Pinterest at the moment. I'm using it to look for ideas for decorating my new house since I have a blank canvas; the main reason I wanted a brand new build. There's some amazing inspiration for anything you could think of! Lovely! I've also edited some photos from our third trip to the abandoned airfield. It was a nice day so we were able to get some good shots. I think I've come out with my best ever photo too! The lighting was just stunning in the toilets inside the lab building so it's created a shot I'm super happy with.

Today I have been working on editing, or rather tweeking, some of the photos I want to go into my starter portfolio. I've mainly been playing with the ones taken at Blackpool and Southport on the Diana F+ just to bring out the colours a bit more. I've also started looking through some of the ones from when we went urbexing in Salford. So this is a sneak peek!

Today I edited another photo from Delamere Forest. This is of a bluebell flower. I quite like bluebells for their colour. I remember being part of a BBC North West Tonight feature when I was in primary school about saving the bluebells in our woods, or something similar. I couldn't have cared less at the time, I just wanted to be on the tv like most 10 year olds!

Today I edited another photo of the boy's dogs. This time it was of Luke holding his paw up for a treat. I only made really slight changes as I was pretty happy with the photo anyway. I gave it a little crop and just did some minor enhancements.

Today I had an uber long 10 hour shift! My feet are killing me! I did get time to do a quick edit of the boy's dog, Benji though. I took the photos yesterday so will try to edit some more over the next few days. I just straightened and cropped the original photo, then turned up the sharpness, contrast and saturation slightly. It looks slightly greyer than the original which I think give it a bit more of Benji's characteristics.

Today I have been making a casserole for the first time! It still isn't finished so I'll upload a photo or two tomorrow. I have however been editing some pictures I took at Chester Zoo in January. I liked the little ponds in the tropical realm so decided to see if I could get a photo of the reflection of all the plants in the water. Then I just tweeked the colour and saturation in GIMP.
