Today's PED is of my Union Jack dog doorstop, he's not heavy enough to hold open our doors, which are fire doors, but he is still rather cute! He matches our Union Jack/retro theme perfectly.

Union Doggy:

Song Of The Day: Fiona Apple - Criminal
Reason: I love Fiona Apple and apparently she's due to release some new material this year, so exciting!

I've spent this evening doing research into companies that might want to sponsor the feature films I'm working on and my day time hours were spent on the first day on mega week, so my poor brain is frazzled. I'm having a nice relaxing end to my evening with some crumpets and Geordie Shore. Yes, Geordie Shore is amazing, unlike scripted reality programmes which in my opinion are just poor soaps with terrible actors!

Love:

Song Of The Day: Lesley Roy - Thinking Out Loud
Reason: Beautiful song, really wish she would release another album

Today hasn't been very exciting, as with most weekdays. I think I'm having far too many not-exciting-enough days at the moment. So today's PED is of a canvas of a parrot. I bet parrots always have exciting days...

Wildlife:

Song Of The Day: The Donnas - Too Bad About Your Girl
Reason: Fun song, fun band

Creme Egg. Jersey Shore. All that needs saying.

Song Of The Day: Faderhead - TZDV
Reason: Tuuuune! Makes me wanna dance

Today we went to Willow Pool Garden Center, possibly one of my favourite local afternoons out. Willow Pool is full of random things such as broken Victorian style prams, old machinery and my personal favourite a giant My Little Pony from Blackpool illuminations (see one of my older posts for a pic of this!) Today it was rather empty of stuff which was a bit disappointing. But we did have some food from their tea rooms which was really nice. Huge portions too! It was also my Gran and Grandad's 50th wedding anniversary, so we all had a meal at my Mum's house.

Today after work I had two visitors! My friends came over for takeaway, from our other friend's families Chinese takeaway, and to hang out. We played along with Take Me Out, ate junk and just had a laugh in general. Was a nice night and better than spending it on my own just monging about! I am also baking another lemon drizzle crunch cake for a meal at my Mum's tomorrow.

Seaweed:

Song Of The Day: Lana Del Rey - Blue Jeans
Reason: Just love her voice, the lyrics and the retro feel to her music.

Today I made a lemon drizzle crunch cake. It's a basic lemon sponge with a sugary paste on top, yummy!

Song Of The Day: Megan McCauley - Porcelain Doll
Reason: Song of Megan's that I've not listennig to before. Lovely song!

Today has been a rubbish day really. So I have toast to make it better.

Toast:

Song Of The Day: Skrillex - The Sadness Will Never End (Bring Me The Horizon Remix)
Reason: Not a fan of BMTH as I just don't really know any of their stuff and it's not my first choice of style anymore, but love this!
